On March 17, 2022, representatives of Guangzhou Shangsheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou LC Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation with GZIST under the arrangement of Technology, Industry, Commerce and Information Bureau of Baiyun District.

Director Chen Tianyong delivered a welcome address and introduced the purpose, orientation, planning and other related information to the guests about our university, eager to partner with enterprises for promoting university- enterprises cooperation, integration between industry, education, and people development..
Section Chief Peng Bin pointed out that Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, as a university in Baiyun District in Guangzhou, should promote cooperation and exchanges between the institution and enterprises in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, technological transformation, intelligent production while adhering to the principles of resource sharing, complementarity and mutual benefit, with the hope to integrate resources in a larger context and serve the development of Baiyun District.
Representatives of the two enterprises gave an overview of the development status and needs of the enterprises in terms of R&D, design, production and after sales. The two parties held talks around university- enterprise cooperation, training, scientific research and development, and construction of internship bases. Chen Tianyong signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation with representatives of Guangzhou Shangsheng Biotech Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Laiqian Cosmetics Co., Ltd.
After the meeting, both parties visited the Laboratory of Robot Principle and Control. Tang Luxin, Dean of the Engineering Center of Guangdong Province, made an introduction to the application and development of the robot innovation laboratory, robot application laboratory, and BIM+VR virtual simulation laboratory.
