(Liang Yuming) November 10-11, GZIST Huizhou Boluo Campus First Track and Field Competition attracted nine teams of 723 students for 22 items of over 200 contests.
President Hu Shejun announced the opening of the first ever sports event, presided over by Vice President Zhang Zhihong. Executive Vice President Fu Huanchang addressed the opening ceremony.
Through the two-day contests, School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Electronic Engineering, School of Computer Science and Engineering and School of Humanities and Education snatched the first, second and third prizes for men’s teams, while School of Humanities and Education, School of Computer Science and Engineering, and School of Foreign Languages won the first, second and third prizes for women’s teams. All the participating students well demonstrated the Olympic Spirit of Faster, Higher, Stronger, and More United.
