On November 17, under the organization of Guangdong Province Department of Education, GZIST hosted the Job Fair for university graduates Class 2024, both on site and online. Altogether 456 organizations filed applications with 1727 positions and 19477 posts, among whom 342 companies came to GZIST Guangzhou Campus offering 1370 positions and 15000 posts. Majority of the enterprises are private from the Pearl River Delta region. State-owned and renowned companies include Guangdong Construction Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd, Sinopharm, China Merchants Securities Co., Ltd, CR Vanguard, SF Express, Luckin Coffee, involving such sectors as the Internet, household electrical appliances, electric engineering, financial securities, education, pharmaceuticals, logistics as well as well-paid jobs like management interns, R&D technical reserves, big data engineers.
Over a thousand graduates surfed online for employment opportunities and close to ten thousand graduates from GZIST and the neighboring universities and colleges met with the enterprises on site. GZIST graduates were well sought after for their clear thinking, eloquence, and more importantly, their down-to-earth attitude, hands-on capabilities and overall excellent qualities.
GZIST Party Secretary Huang Shengcheng said in the interview with the media that the University always attaches great importance to our graduates’ employment and career development, mobilizing the whole community, running through the whole process in all directions, visiting companies, expanding contacts and connections for our graduates the best way we can.
